New Hampshire is home to some of the most incredible hiking trails in New England. Of the hundreds of mountains across the Granite State, there are 48 peaks in the White Mountain National Forest that reach higher than 4,000 feet in elevation. 
New Hampshire is chock full of natural beauty on thousands of hiking trails just waiting to be explored. Impressive views, countless rivers and waterfalls, and varied terrain for every experience level make the Granite State the perfect place to enjoy true New England beauty.
When you think about camping, most will be thinking about instant or dehydrated food. It’s quick, it’s easy, and all you’ll need is a stove and some utensils. However, instant food like noodles often lack nutritional value and dehydrated food may have reduced levels of vitamins such as A and C. 
Anyone that has camped in winter can tell you that falling asleep is remarkably difficult when you are too cold. If you can’t feel your hands and feet or you’re shivering, THAT’S too cold! 
When hikers think about getting outdoors in New Hampshire it is typically to the White Mountains and Mount Washington. Just look at the throngs of people on a weekend or holiday! Yikes. 
Waterfalls, waterfalls, and more waterfalls! A visit to New Hampshire wouldn’t be complete without hiking one of the area’s most popular hikes, the Falling Water Trail. Not only is it a gorgeous, dog-friendly trail that goes through three waterfalls, but it is also the first or last part of the Franconia Ridge Loop, another popular trail that is way more challenging.
New Hampshire in winter is a magical wonderland. With snow-capped peaks and dramatic landscapes, it is an excellent time to visit the Granite State. Well, it is ALWAYS a good time to visit but we might be biased.
With snow-covered mountains and dramatic wintry landscapes, winter in New Hampshire is a magical place. While most folks enjoy sitting by the fire with a hot cuppa, we prefer going out to play!
